Sound and lighting equipment – Nothing but the best
We have a great sounding DJ system. DJ Bill is a vocalist singing for many years and played in many top bands in FL and AL. He has set up full large concert sound systems and small club sound systems and knows what it takes to produce a great sound! He has also set up and ran large light shows.
Our sound system sounds so good because we don’t just use two speakers up on stands like most the other DJs do. We add in a third sub bass speaker in the center and run a different mix into it.
Our system produces a rich full sound at any volume. No harsh highs and mids that hurt your ears.

WHATS THE DIFFERENCE
Most DJs use two full range speakers up on stands or on the ground. With this set up you will have many sound problems like
At low volumes you get very little bass response and end up with a very shallow sound.
At higher output volumes for dancing the louder it is turned up the more harsh the highs and mid range will be and the bass response will fall off because a full range speaker cabinet can not produce good lows and good mid towns at the same time from the same cabinet.
(No punch when you need it) two full range speakers up on stands can not produce the good bass punch you hear in a dance club. Even at low volumes you want a good tight bass sound.
Many DJs will tell you that they EQ the sound but the fact is that if you do not have a extra sub bass speaker you can eq all you want and you will never be able to produce a full sound from highs to lows like we get.
ABOUT OUR SOUND SYSTEM
At low volumes we can adjust the bass to create a full rich sound.
At high output volumes we can adjust the bass so it has a full punchy sound that makes people want to dance. Its the highs and mid sounds that hurt your ears so we keep it all in check.
We remove all the low end and mid low tones from our full range speakers up on stands and have them adjusted for a tight mid to high sound output this makes them work more efficient and sound better. They can be turned up or down and they will still have the same clear sound quality.
Our bass speaker is placed in the center of the other two and puts out all the mid and low bass sounds and is set for a tight sound output. Most of the time the bass speaker is producing up to 50% more sound output then both the other speakers combined.
Just like a stereo or concert sound system the bass is the most powerful frequency range.
A good bass sound is what makes music sound good, full, lively and what keeps your sound from becoming harsh and hurting your ears.
Our full range speakers and our bass speaker run off different power amps so we have complete control at all times of the total sound mix.
Side by side if you compared our sound system to the competition you would hear right away a big difference in the sound quality. Our system sounds great at any volume and is rich and full with out all the bad tones that people don’t like.
SOUND EQUIPMENT WE USE
For power we use the QSC RMX1850HD this gives us 1200 watts at 4 ohms
For music playback we use a digital computer playback system that lets us have very fast control of how songs are played. We can create a custom play list just for your event and make changes to it in seconds. We can set up songs your have requested and play them with a single cli
ck. We bring thousands of songs with us and can search for a requested song in seconds. Our system also lets us add sound effects in over the top of the music at any time or play song loops. The sound quality is 100% digital crystal clear.

The sound mixer we use is not a DJ mixer. We use a small full featured mixing board that includes digital sound effects and provides much more control over the sound then a DJ mixer can.

e use is a Behringer UB 1204FX with 12 inputs.
For speakers on most jobs we use two EV speakers and one 1000 watt Peavey Impulse sub woofer.
Other equipment includes a UHF wireless mike system, Wired EV mike, Two 15 band EQs and a CD player, extra wires and a extra laptop computer as a backup.
LIGHTING EQUIPMENT WE USE
For small to medium jobs we bring in a single light tree that has 8 par 38 lights and a controller for a extra fee we can bring in a crystal ball with side lights and one Vertigo 30-Beam sound activated light. Its beams rotate and crisscross back and forth to the beat of the music. a second Vertigo 30-Beam sound activated light.
We also have a fog machine available that makes all the lights look more exciting.
For fog machine use you must get permission from the event location first because the fog machine can in some places set off the fire alarm. We have seen this happen many times
