Here’s my professional quality, custom built, battery powered, “no strings attached”, self contained, “karaoke” style performance guitar system, hand crafted for entertainers. Click on thumbnails for larger image and see text below pics for more information.

I invented this around 17 years ago. As a professional entertainer, I needed something that would allow me to walk into a function performing without any setup or tear down of equipment. So it was invented by me as a personal performance tool and is likewise manufactured  with the needs of performers in mind.

Each one is carefully hand crafted by my partner Pete and myself personally. We had our own amplifiers specially designed and built which are powered by 8 “D” cell batteries that last a long time. My original prototype for myself used a tape deck, then later a cd disk player and still later a MP3 player. These new improved models come with a rechargeable battery powered MP4 player that will allow you to not only listen to your songs, but to just look down and see the lyrics on the screen of your MP4 player which will also play video as well as audio. You can download over 400 of your favorite karaoke songs into your MP4 player for your shows. The MP4 player is attached to the top of the guitar with Velcro for easy attachment and detachment for downloading songs from your computer or music source. It also comes with a detachable gooseneck microphone, so that you may sing live to your prerecorded show on your MP4 player.

It is excellent for celebrity walk arounds, singing telegrams, birthday parties, trade shows or almost any function that does not require a large sound system. It really cranks out the sound! It will fill a good sized room with adequate sound. It allows the entertainer to stroll and perform carrying their complete sound system with them as they adjust their microphone and music volume instantly for their needs. You can pause your music so you can speak to the audience and then instantly start your music and continue performing. All the reasons why I invented it!

A lot of people asked me over the past 17 years if I was manufacturing these and when I told them “no”, they suggested that I should. So finally after all these years I’ve decided to do just that. In addition to the detachable gooseneck microphone, you can also plug in an extra microphone into the guitar for duets.

It also has an output so you can plug a cable into it and put the entire sound output through a large sound system if desired as well as separate volume controls for your music and microphone and controls for bass and treble. It uses an 8 inch speaker. People are always surprised when they hear how loud it can play for its size. Although I do not use this system for really large rooms, it works for everything else and I have done HUNDREDS of shows with it over these past 17 years. Even for large rooms it works very well if you are strolling amongst the audience. Currently we have these available in the colors of blue with black trim, sunburst with black trim, natural wood and black. But we only have a very limited number of the blue and sunburst ones. For our future production runs after this one, we will only be making the natural wood and black colors. It comes with MP4 player and all MP4 player accessories and gooseneck microphone included. All you need are batteries and your own shoulder strap and you are ready to perform. You can download your music to the detachable MP4 player either through your CD player or your computer. Then reattach it to your guitar and you are ready to Perform.
